When comman man feels to enjoy the likes of big machines, the brand they look upto is the invincible Royal Enfield. They enjoyed everybody’s attention and that has given rise to expectations from them.

At EICMA 2017, the oldest manufacturing motorcycle in the world, Royal Enfield unveiled their powerful 650cc  machines, the Twins,The Interceptor 650 and The Continental 650. The company expects to launch them by April 2018 in India. Here we will talk about the Interceptor 650.

The Interceptor marks the return of one of Royal Enfield’s most loved classic motorcycles. Hailing from a time when all that mattered was that the California sun was out and the surf was up, the new Interceptor retains every bit of charm that made it a legend.          The 650 twin is the rebirth of the company’s legendary parallel twin cylinder engine. The new engine has an elegant look, less weight and easier to maintain. Though the chasis design is old but the new frame offers superb handling and the new modern engineering give these twins a whole new outlook.

The motor produces 47 bhp of power @ 7100rpm and torque of 52nm @ 4000rpm. The Engine is a 4 stroke, single overhead cam, air-oil cooled, 648 cc parallel twin and comes with a 6 speed gear box and provides refinement with a fuel injection system. The large fuel tank of 13.7 litres makes those fuel stops really less in between those long highway rides. The amiable ground clearance of 174mm will let you enjoy the offroads in a fun way.
